Children Care Uganda works with vulnerable young people in need of support in Gulu, northern Uganda.
Our vision: We are convinced that all young people are valuable and loved - regardless of their background, health or social status. They should know about their worth. It is important to us that the young people experience this with us.
Children Care Uganda has the mission to provide vulnerable children with the hope for a brighter future, improve their mental health and support in any medical or educational issue in their daily lives.

a period of transition and restructuring
Due to significant operational and funding challenges, our local operations in Uganda have been paused in their previous form and CCU Uganda is temporarily closed. This decision was made after careful reflection and was not taken lightly.
While the activities on the ground are currently limited, we remain committed to the wellbeing of the children and youth we have worked with over the years and continue to explore sustainable ways forward.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who has supported this work and journey so far. We will keep you posted about the developments in the near future.
